Season 1 Plot
A mysterious woman resurfaces in 2036 New York City with no memory of the past 40 years and powers she cannot explain. As PDNY detective Martin O'Reilly begins tracking her, a separate thread emerges: others like her are appearing across the city, each with abilities tied to a pattern of disappearances stretching back decades. When a third post-human surfaces in Brooklyn, the three reluctantly unite and trace every thread back to a single corporation. By season's end, the conspiracy runs deeper than any of them expected and the cost of pulling at it is permanent.

Season 1 Episodes
1. Emerging Talent
Patricia Mendoza resurfaces in 2036 with no memory of the past 40 years and an inexplicable ability to manipulate gold metal. After she stops a street robbery, PDNY detective Martin O'Reilly tracks her down and reveals she had a life before her disappearance that she cannot remember.
2. Shadows & Flames
Patricia and Red Fox begin piecing together her lost history as a separate investigation links a cluster of missing persons cases to people with unnatural abilities. A blue-skinned giant designated Jotunn tears through a Brooklyn electronics factory, drawing Hellion Blade toward a new confrontation.
3. Power Absolute
Hellion Blade pursues Jotunn through an industrial facility while PDNY robo-cops prove no match for the creature's brute force. Across the city, fashion designer Felix Stein fires Teresa Jacobs, triggering her emergence as Nytemare.
4. The Terror Within
Patricia uses a fire truck to neutralize Jotunn, while Nytemare bends Felix Stein's will through psychic manipulation to secure Teresa a lucrative contract. Red Fox identifies Jotunn as Victor Hale, a victim of genetic experimentation by DynNova, opening a formal investigation.
5. Distant Echoes
Patricia shares fragmented memories of being drugged and losing decades of her life, and Red Fox responds with declassified footage showing her operating as a covert asset called the Golden Witch in 1990s Guatemala. He then introduces the case of Caleb Freeman, a man whose history may mirror her own.
6. Defend The Mighty
Bus driver Caleb Freeman intervenes when a grotesque man-pig named Bo'am robs a Brooklyn bank, exposing his purple hellfire abilities to Red Fox and Patricia. The three converge for a tense first meeting and agree to jointly investigate DynNova.
7. Insurance Policy
The newly formed trio infiltrates a DynNova facility and finds records of genetic experiments conducted on newborns, all connected to Zeto's corporate network. A gravity-manipulating assassin and a creature called Torsion are dispatched to stop them, and Red Fox is left paralyzed in the attack.
8. Built In A Day
Red Fox wakes unable to walk, and Teresa takes operational command of a group struggling to hold together. Caleb learns he has been missing since 1988, pointing P.H.Y.R.E.'s timeline back to Cold War-era human trials long before Zeto's corporation existed.
