Miniseries Plot
Young orphan Heathcliff is adopted by the wealthy Earnshaw family and moves into their estate, Wuthering Heights. Soon, the new resident falls for his compassionate foster sister, Cathy. The two share a remarkable bond that seems unbreakable until Cathy, feeling the pressure of social convention, suppresses her feelings and marries Edgar Linton, a man of means who befits her stature. Heathcliff vows to win her back.

1. An End to Childhood
A new dramatisation of Emily Bronte's classic love story in four parts. Starring Ian McShane as Heathcliff and Angela Scoular as Cathy.
2. The First Revenge
Cathy has decided to wed Edgar Linton so that she can help her Heathcliff rise in society.
3. The Abduction
To revenge himself, Heathcliff has wed Isabella Linton. Cathy dies giving birth and Heathcliff prays that her soul never leave him so long as he lives.
4. The Last Revenge
Hindley dies, leaving Heathcliff to own Wuthering Heights. Determined to gain possessions also of Thrushcross Grange, he is forcing his son Lintom to marry Catherine.
