A cadet who shows great talent is put in a position of choosing if he'll stay in the academy or pursue an art career. He stays too long at his socialite girl friend's house and must race back to West Point to make curfew.

West Point cadets are called on to aid in the rescue and evacuation of an area threatened by flood.

A program to expose West Pointers to flying takes a reluctant cadet on a jet flight with an older pilot. Later, he decides he wasn't cut out for flying, but must take one more mission. He does, but this time, the pilot blacks out in flight.

Cadet Matt Tracy rebels against the Academy and flunks out of West Point when he neglects his studies in armored tactics. He joins the regular Army and goes to Korea.
