Wanees's Diaries - Season 6 (2009)

As Wanis talks with his grandchildren about consumption and blind imitation, he takes China and its goods and products as an example of this. Abu Al-Fadl blames Wanis for reproaching his kids for not visiting to check on him.

Wanis feels that his children are keeping him away from his grandchildren. Abu Al-Fadl thinks about opening a library. As Wanis interferes in the lives of his grandchildren and Hoda, his children tell him that he raised them wrong as they grew up and found those around them without morals.

Wanis refuses that Ezz deals with his manager by using hypocrisy. Abu Al-Fadl brings 2000 books to Wanis's apartment. Wanis advises Ezz, Sharaf, and Jihad to go to the cinema, and meets with grandchildren to know their problems.

As Abdullah buys two stores from Youssef, he leases one of them to Abu Al-Fadl and the other to Khalil. Lamis tells Amina that she's worried that Wanis will marry another. Wanis causes problems when he uses his grandchildren's computers.

Hoda quits ballet. As Wanis's kids go to live with him, Sharaf turns his apartment into a clinic, as Ezz and Houria decide to travel to Japan, and Jihad asks Zakaria for a divorce. Lamis asks Wanis about a hundred thousand dollars that Maysa withdrew before her death.

Sharaf is upset when Hosnyia sells the apartment. When Lamis accuses Wanis of taking the money from Maysa, he denies it. Wanis proves to Amina and Lamis that Youssef paid one hundred thousand dollars to his wife Sophia. Khalil tells Zeinat that he took the money from Maysa.

Youssef discovers that he got defrauded. Wanis talks with his grandchildren about the seriousness of suspicion. Khalil and Zeinat deny that they took money from Maysa. Lamis confronts Wanis with the paper Maysa left for Ezzat. Wanis doubts the source of his children's money .

Abu Al-Fadl tells Wanis that he finds money every day in the library. Wanis grieves because the source of his kids' money is from selling their conscience. Wanis knows that Khalil needs half a million for his heart operation. Abdul Khaleq proposes to Hoda. Lamis and Wanis find a check for Ezzat.

Ezzat admits that he took the check from Maysa. As Abdullah and Abla give Khalil 350 thousand, they take from Wanis, Lamis, and Youssef 50 thousand each. The millionaire Gharib agrees to work in Abu Al-Fadl’s library. Wanis's children get rid of their ill-gotten money.

Lamis and Youssef agree to work together. Tharwat continues to check his election program for the People's Assembly. When Wanis talks with his grandchildren about creativity and democracy, they tell him about the need to have a role model first. Wanis asks Hoda to monitor Abdel Khaleq's behavior.

The State Security investigates Wanis and Sharaf because of Aman's publications on elections and freedom. Wanis asks Ahlam to teach him English. As Lamis gets closer to Wanis’s children and hears their problems, she asks them to consider her as their mother. Abu Al-Fadl goes to Gharib's company.

As Gharib continues to pretend to be poor, Abu Al-Fadl decides to sell the library. Bahaa lets Ezz get back to work in the hotel. Tharwat loses in the elections. Wanis, Lamis, and Hoda teach Abdul Khaleq a lesson when he criticizes Hoda's behaviors. Wanis decides not to let Hoda work after her graduation.

Zeinat tells Wanis that Khalil took the money to make a deal and not for a heart operation. Ahlam asks Wanis to file a divorce case against her husband. As Abu Al-Fadl gets angry after knowing about Gharib's lie, and that he was sending money to him, he eventually forgives him.

Abu Al-Fadl discovers that Gharib is married to Caramela. Wanis and Lamis try to bring Youssef and Amina closer together. Lamis thinks that Wanis wants to marry Ahlam. Wanis warns Tharwat not to write half of his wealth to Hady without the rest of his children.

Wanis's children try to keep their father busy so that he does not meet Ahlam. When Wanis discovers that the toys imported by Khalil may infect the children with viruses, he agrees to sell them to Abdullah and Abla. As Harisa and her son return from traveling, they stay with Wanis.

Ahlam rejoices after Wanis wins her divorce case. As Nader goes with his father to propose to Hoda, Tharwat comes to ask for Hoda's hand for his son Hady, who gifts her with a car and a necklace. Hossam promises Metaw' to know the whereabouts of Mo'taza from Harisa.

Hoda agrees to get engaged to Hady. Amina and Youssef agree to wed. Abu Al-Fadl travels with Gharib and Caramela to Greece. Wanis confronts his kids with their plan to keep him away from Ahlam. Wanis cancels his travel to Lebanon to stay with his grandchildren after his kids travel to Spain.

As Harisa tells Hossam that Mo'taza is in Morocco, she takes 20 thousand from him, but she forgets the money in Abdullah's apartment. As Wanis notices that his grandchildren's addiction to mobiles and technology, he takes the devices from them. Nader decides to leave Wanis' office.

After his grandchildren go to Amina, Wanis goes there to bring them back. Wanis places a glass box so that if anyone makes mistakes, they put money in it. Wanis asks Tharwat not to rush into the marriage of Hady and Hoda. Nader confesses to Wanis his love for Hoda.

Lamis gets upset when her children ask her about the possibility of her marrying Wanis. Hoda tells Wanis that her car was inspected in a strange way. As Aman has a TV interview after his lecture at the university, he makes an appointment with the President of the Republic.

Ahlam returns from Lebanon. As Hady uses Hoda to smuggle drugs behind her back, the police arrest him for smuggling drugs in cosmetics. Mo'taza agrees to meet Hossam and let him see his daughter Donia.

Wanis and Lamis notice that the grandchildren are influenced by the behavior of the adults. Wanis refuses to take Hady's case. Nader tells Wanis that he got engaged to his cousin. Wanis' grandchildren decide to donate to the residents of slum areas.

As Wanis' kids return from Spain, they start to think about immigration. Amina asks the children to help Wanis marry Ahlam. As Wanis learns that Nader lied about his marriage to his cousin, Nader asks for Hoda's hand in marriage. Khalil sells his apartment for Youssef.

In order to feel better about their decision to emigrate, Wanis' children get close to Ahlam so that Wanis would marry her. Khalil sells his apartment to Gharib. Wanis tries to help Hoda get to know Nader. Ahlam confesses her love for Wanis.

Wanis agrees with Ahlam to be just friends. Gharib, Youssef, and Tharwat discover that Khalil swindled them. Lamis tells Wanis' kids that she will stop them from immigrating. Caramela asks for a divorce from Gharib. Lamis and Ahlam confront each other about their desire to marry Wanis.

Wanis talks with his grandchildren about belonging. When Caramela learns that Gharib is married to Buthaina and has a child with her, it turns out that Abu Al-Fadl is behind this prank. Nader confesses to Hoda his love. Lamis tells Wanis that she loves him.

Lamis reads to Wanis, his kids, Abu Al-Fadl, and Amina Maysa's letter before she died in which she asks her to marry Wanis. Gharib finds out about Abu Al-Fadl's prank about his marriage to Buthaina. Nader and Hoda get engaged. When Thawart gives Hoda Khalil's apartment, she gives it to Youssef and Gharib.

Wanis agrees that his children travel abroad on the condition that they go on a trip with him on Gharib's yacht. Wanis criticizes the teachers who give private lessons. As Hossam and Mo'taza reconcile, he confesses to Wanis that he's married to another. Wanis agrees with Lamis to be his wife's sister.

Wanis asks his children to buy some strange things for the trip to Greece. Lamis tells Amina that she's the sister of Wanis' wife only. As Amina asks Ahlam to come to the trip, Wanis asks Nader to overcome his fear and come as well. Nader finds Yusef, the grandson of La Palis.

As Wanis gets angry when his kids sell their apartments to emigrate, he attempts to treat Nader from his sea phobia. Wanis objects to the school principal after Aman failed because of his opinions about politics. Wanis asks Walaa's principal to redo her test because she cheated.
