A hippie family crash lands in Oslo's affluent west end. Here they must battle against socialists, cable TV, and American culture.

1. The Collective and the Swimming Pool
The Ihle family leaves a hippie commune in the countryside for a housing cooperative in Oslo's most affluent western district. Here, they get a taste of the 1980s.
2. Titten Tei and the Advertising Man
Siri encounters difficulties at NRK when a new colleague arrives — straight from the United States. The children discover that the Lysejordet School is not quite like the Steiner school.
3. Madonna and Margaret Thatcher
Simone ends up at odds with the class's right-wing politician. Siri must save a national icon on NRK and Ole Martin skips school to catch up with pop culture.
4. He-Man and Child Models
Ole Martin discovers He-Man. Siri strives to fulfill NRK's social mission and Svein struggles to be a male role model.
5. The Mushroom and the Diary
Siri invites everyone to dinner to get Simone back on track and Ole Martin devises a cunning plan to win Preben's friendship.
6. Video Violence and the Liberal Party
Ole Martin is invited into the boys' wild world. Simone and Liv visit the right-wing headquarters and Siri takes up the fight against video violence on NRK.
7. AIDS and Nuclear Weapons
Simone and Siri settle their differences once and for all. Ole Martin and Svein go to a pool party at Tore and Preben's house.
8. Radio Freedom and Blackface
Simone receives unexpected help with the radio documentary. Ole Martin struggles to earn Simran's forgiveness.
9. Satelitte Dish Children and Bully Courses
Znikk Znakk will decide the future of NRK. Svein follows Inger on a bully course and picks up some good advice along the way. Ole Martin tries out for an audition.
10. Goofs and Stagefright
There's a school show and Ole Martin wants to perform, but the children have to deal with Amalie. Svein has to overcome his fear of Inger and horses.
