Season 3 Episodes
1. Episode 1
Julian Norton receives an emergency call from alpaca breeder Jackie, whose prize-winning female Cinderella is pregnant and struggling with a difficult labour. Back at the practice, Peter Wright is dealing with Larry the chinchilla, who is responsible for a population explosion and needs to be castrated, while Dougie the petulant parrot is due for a beak and nail trim.
2. Episode 2
Julian receives a late-night emergency call to help a cow give birth, but the delivery is more complicated than expected, with the mother and calf's lives hanging in the balance. Alfie the blind labrador is brought to Skeldale following an unusual baking incident, having swallowed a spatula while trying to steal some food.
3. Episode 3
Julian is called to a heifer in agony with an object embedded in her painful, swollen and infected foot, while Peter removes a huge lump from Holly the golden retriever's head. Meanwhile, two of Skeldale's favourite clients, farmers Steve and Jeanie, are concerned about their cat Spitfire, who has not been his usual feisty self.
4. Episode 4
Julian faces the difficult task of castrating a group of alpacas, whose owner Colin has been using his own holistic techniques to soothe the animals. Peter tends to a Yorkshire terrier belonging to a regular visitor to the surgery, and the team treats a stray cat with a broken leg.
5. Episode 5
Julian decides to conduct a fertility test on an unproductive ram and Peter tends to a spaniel that will require major surgery after being hit by a car. Julian also heads to Thirsk where a vicious fight has taken place between two rival terrapins, leaving one missing an entire toe.
6. Episode 6
Julian Norton tries to save Millie, a much-loved farm dog and an albino wallaby called Albert, while Charlie, a cheeky pygmy goat, gives Peter Wright the runaround. Other patients include Monster, the spiky hedgehog, and Nykee, an alpaca who needs help to become a mum.
7. Episode 7
The vets treat a horse with infected hooves, a cat struggling to give birth and an angry monitor lizard. They also take time out to visit the Great Yorkshire Show.
8. Episode 8
Julian is called out to a suspected case of foot-and-mouth. Other patients include a Great Dane with cancer, a ram that needs castrating, a rat with a suspicious lump and a rare breed of pig that needs inseminating.
9. Episode 9
Julian treats a calf with a large and worrying lump, two pygmy goats face castration at the surgery, and after chasing after a badly behaved sheep, Peter flies like a bird.
10. Episode 10
Julian is woken by an emergency call in the middle of the night, Moobaloo the heifer has been struggling in labour but there is no sign of the calf. And tiny Teeny, a seven-day-old Shetland foal, is rushed in to see vet Helen.
