Season 8 Plot
A fierce rivalry begins as A-Troupe and B-Troupe battle to decide which team will represent The Next Step at Nationals. When the dust settles, one team must overcome their underdog status and prove they have what it takes to be champions, while the other decides to stop playing by anyone else's rules and show the world they are true triple threats.

Auditions continue, and a new A-troupe will be formed.
5. I Dreamed a Dream
Richelle and Shad hold auditions to find a soloist to be the lead in Step Inside.
6. Never Had A Friend Like Me
Kenzie goes through her first challenge as Dance Captain of A-Troupe, and Kingston has trouble picking a duet partner.
7. Perfect For You
Lily struggles to focus on dance while avoiding more pressing issues. Ozzy tries to find Richelle the perfect venue for Step Inside.
8. My Philosophy
Jude, Ethan, and Ebby compete to become the Nationals soloist and Ozzy and Heath's investigation has devastating results.
9. When I Grow Up
Amy hopes to fail her prestigious audition and Piper wonders if that’s really a good idea. Meanwhile, Richelle and Shad try to convince Nick to invest in Step Inside.
10. The Move In My Mind
Shad surprises Richelle and they share a beautiful moment. Heath vows to mend Ozzy and Kingston’s relationship, but his efforts morph into an eventful search for the mole.
11. Tomorrow
When the mole’s identity is revealed, Richelle and the Step Inside cast must start from scratch the day before their big performance!

It’s showtime! With an online audience waiting, plus a few surprise visitors, the pressure is on… but Richelle discovers she may be about to lose everything she’s worked for.

Intermission is over! Piper and Amy bet on themselves in an attempt to impress Drew before Richelle and TNS dance what might be their final number as a team.

A-Troupe throws a surprise party, but Richelle isn't the only one surprised when a certain someone turns up and threatens their chances at Nationals.

Kenzie considers giving one of her old teammates a second chance, while her new teammates prepare to audition for the Nationals duet.

Kenzie must choose the alternates for A-Troupe, while Piper plans a grand gesture for Finn.
17. How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?
Ozzy accompanies Richelle to the pro-division qualifier, where she will face off against the best of the best. Meanwhile, Jude goes to great lengths to feel seen by Kenzie.
18. Climbing Uphill
Lucien pops in to wreak havoc at the studio, leading the dancers to feel inadequate.
19. Worse Things
Anthony is suspicious of Jude's new-found choreography genius, and Richelle believes Ozzy's new girlfriend has an ulterior motive.

Cleo receives a surprising offer that threatens to jeopardise her relationship with Jude, while Jude must make a hard choice that affects her future on A-Troupe.

Daisy risks everything to earn Heath’s trust back, while Richelle battles for The Next Step in the pro-division round.

The race is on for Daisy and Heath, while Kenzie receives an offer she may not be able to refuse - especially if it saves the team’s chances at Nationals.
