In a crisis-ridden village, Youssef opens his school to displaced villagers fleeing a nearby battlefield, unaware that his decision will put him to a major test.

As the cold tightens its grip on everyone, chaos intensifies between the villagers, leaving Youssef torn between two bitter choices: provide for them or let fate take its course.

As the village mourns, Youssef tries to maintain order. Tensions rise between Marwan and Maryam over their future. Faraj rescues a starving baby.

After family tensions escalate, Rama’s father refuses that Faraj marries her. On the other hand, Adnan is hellbent on revenge — no matter how.

Youssef refuses to succumb to Adnan’s threats and is determined to keep protecting his home and the displaced villagers. Yet, an untamable fire places him before an unknown fate.

Youssef returns home, but things are no longer the way they used to be—for him and his family. An honest cry for help from the displaced goes viral on social media, upsetting the authorities.

Rania is overwhelmed by fatigue. Faraj tries to make things right with Youssef, who gives him an ultimatum. Maryam gets cold feet about her travel plans.

Faraj tries to make up with the villagers. Rama struggles to adapt to her new home. Maryam finds herself torn between two bitter choices.

Rama feels homesick and longs for her mum. The authorities hold a ceremony at the school to honour Youssef – but there’s more than meets the eye…

Zayd’s arrival strikes suspicion among the villagers. Tensions rise between Youssef and Majd. Faraj embarks on his new job, but his recklessness soon puts him in danger.

Rama is desperate to find someone to help Faraj. Maryam hides a secret from her mum, who is fighting a battle at home and at work.

Youssef stuggles to accept his new assignment at work. Faraj is forced to enter a new world to make money. Imad puts Rania in a tough position.

Rania tries to be a shoulder to cry on for Youssef, whose struggle with disability grows by the day. The school’s ground floor is flooded with water while Faraj sinks deeper into the world of smuggling.

Despite being seen as a traitor and a felon by the villagers, Faraj stands up against everyone. Youssef’s health deteriorates by the day.

Youssef’s role as a mediator diminishes by the day. The bombings intensify near the village, pushing everybody to flee.

Rania tries to bring her family together amidst the bombings. The villagers are concerned about the lack of resources. Maryam’s fear pushes her to follow her heart.

Faraj returns from the battlefield with a psychological burden. Youssef faces the reality of holding a weapon. Marwan and Maryam confront their fear of what’s to come.

A guilt-ridden Faraj breaks down in front of Youssef, who tries to go back to teaching. Rania faces the unthinkable.

Rania is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Faraj’s power grows by the day. Maryam and Marwan try to seize the opportunity to leave the country.

Faraj is under more pressure to continue his smuggling operations. Maryam warns Majd about drifting towards the dark side while the family prepares for her marriage celebration.

Maryam tries to make her way out of the village with Marwan and asks for Faraj’s help. Youssef finds out about Imad’s harassment against Rania, which puts him under a major moral test.

After the shooting outside the municipality, Rania and Youssef stand at a crossroads again. The police arrive in the village for the compulsory military service, putting Marwan and Maryam in a tough situation.

Rania is disappointed with Youssef, who later scolds Faraj at the wrong timing. Maryam and Marwan suffer a setback in their relationship.

Faraj asserts his dominance as he scolds Adnan for the trouble he has caused. Majd’s guilt takes him over. Maryam spirals into despair after losing contact with Marwan.

Maryam is forced to face a harsh reality all alone. Sulafa turns to Faraj for help to flee the country immediately. Imad threatens Rania.

While Maryam does all she can to get smuggled outside the country, Sulafa’s reputation in the village is tarnished. Rama’s jealousy goes out of hand.

Maryam and Sulafa seek another smuggler to help them. Faraj takes a bold step in Youssef’s presence. Majd tries to prove himself in front of everyone.

After reaching a dead end, Maryam has no choice but to confide in her mum, who is determined to get her out of trouble. Faraj’s mother defends Rama.

Youssef leaves letters for Rania, Maryam and Majd, pouring out everything he never dared to say to their faces. Rama is determined to stay away from Faraj, who later plans a new mission.

Faraj offers the villagers a deal that will put him above all. But when Maryam discovers what he really does for a living, his plans are upended after a heated confrontation between them.
