1. Part 1
It's 1921 and Marcus opens his nightclub with a publicity stunt, and brings Sarah as his date. Ruth's grandmother shows up for an extended stay at The Grand, which has everyone on edge. Kate and Stephen's relationship continues to grow.
2. Part 2
Lynne impresses when she gets up on stage and a lecherous MC, who only wants her for sex. A good deed for an army buddy goes wrong. And Marcus blackmails Sarah for the one thing he truly wants.
3. Part 3
Left in her room by Marcus as ever, Ruth miscarries and realises that she will probably never be able to bear the children Marcus wants. The maids attend a sex-ed lecture. Marcus finally succeeds in seducing his sister-in-law.
4. Part 4
An unwelcome guest arrives at the Grand and is greeted with hostility by the staff and restrictions. Contemplating revenge, they're unaware of something more nefarious. Marcus' affair with Sarah brings significant consequences.
5. Part 5
A mysterious Russian woman spices up The Grand and soon affects everyone there, in ways they could not have foreseen. Rumors about Marcus and Sarah circulate downstairs, as workforce reductions are in the works.
6. Part 6
Clive Evans visits his father with a story to tell. His recent promotion at work led to some unexpected consequences. Stephen announces his engagement and invites the staff to a party. What could go wrong?
7. Part 7
A man from Esme's past returns with a shocking proposal. Ruth's false pregnancy comes to a head as Marcus sends for a medical specialist. Lark is missing her family and trade unionists spread some ideas among the staff.
8. Part 8
Esme interviews girls for the club. A goon sends a message and injures Kate in the process. Turns out the dreaded pimp Scott does not want Marcus and Esme cutting into his business. Steven finally decides to follow his heart.
9. Part 9
Stephen dating Kate causes staff resentment and a promotion. Mrs Harvey walks out. Edith lands a job at the Grand as a chambermaid. Jacob is appalled at the direction the Grand is taking under Marcus' leadership and learns of a secret.
10. Part 10
The baby's true identity is revealed. Jacob is mad as hell and he's not going to take it anymore. Kate brings Stephen home to meet her parents, but her father already has his mind made up. A memento from a guest brings good fortune.
