A figurine made of chestnuts is found at the scene of a grisly murder; from this creepy clue, two detectives hunt for a killer linked to a politician's missing child.

Thulin and her reluctant new partner, Hess, investigate a gruesome murder. Politician Rosa Hartung returns to work after her daughter's disappearance.

Hess uses unorthodox methods to prove a theory about the Hartung case. The detectives chase a lead linked to a text message. Rosa faces another threat.
3. Episode 3
When a disturbing discovery provides a lead to a possible target, Thulin and Hess hatch a risky plan to lure the killer.
4. Episode 4
The detectives find inconsistencies as they dig deeper into the Kristine Hartung investigation, while the threats against Rosa take a terrifying turn.
