Battle of the Exes Plot
The Challenge: Battle of the Exes is the 22nd season of the MTV reality game show, The Challenge. It takes place in the Dominican Republic and Iceland, with former cast members from MTV's The Real World, Road Rules, and The Challenge competing. The season premiered on January 25, 2012, and concluded on April 4, 2012, with the Reunion special.

1. Love Is a Battlefield
Season 22 opens as 26 players arrive in the Dominican Republic and learn they'll be paired up with their exes to compete for their share of a $300,000 grand prize.
2. What's Love Got to Do With It?
Unrequited love is in the air as Wes pines after Mandi; a drunken action by one player has devastating consequences.
3. Where Did Our Love Go?
Abram is insecure about his relationship with Cara Maria; Paula and Dunbar appear to be getting over their issues; two teams may go home.
4. Love the Way You Lie
Robin has an emotional breakdown; CT and Diem try to repair their relationship; bad blood resurfaces.
5. Crazy in Love
A jealous Camila goes on a drunken rampage; the relationship between Paula and Ty heats up; Abram and Cara Maria continue to struggle with their undefined relationship.
6. Tainted Love
Paula and Ty take their flirtation to the next level, creating tension with his teammate, Emily. Also: CT and Diem tear each other down; Rachel and Aneesa struggle with trust issues.
7. Love and Marriage
The exes compete in a wedding-theme challenge. Then, things take a dark turn when a racially charged incident occurs, tearing the house apart.
8. On the Wings of Love
The Top 4 teams are revealed before the penultimate challenge, where the players nearly get blown away while fighting for a spot in the finals.
9. Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?
The final three teams are revealed after a grueling battle in the Dome. The players then travel to Iceland, where the final challenge will be held.
10. I Will Always Love You
In Iceland, the Top 3 teams embark on a rigorous, long-distance race for the $300,000 grand prize in the Season 22 finale.
11. Reunion
The "Battle of the Exes" cast reunite to dish about their stay in the Dominican Republic.
12. The S#!@ They Should Have Shown
Outtakes and previously unseen footage from the "Battle of the Exes.
