Deziree Wilson tries a new method of exploring the wilds of Wester Ross on foot and by boat, while Cameron McNeish heads up Ben Vrackie, one of Perthshire's iconic hills.

2. Fort William Mountain Bike World Cup

August 6th, 20131 hr

We're at the spiritual home of Scottish mountain biking, Fort William, for the 2013 World Cup, and Cameron McNeish explores one of Scotland's finest hills, Garbh Bheinn of Ardgour.

3. Celtman Extreme Triathlon

October 8th, 20131 hr

The Adventure Show is in Torridon for the Celtman Extreme Scottish Triathlon, and Cameron McNeish heads into the hills to seek out one of the best viewpoints in Wester Ross.

4. Episode 4

November 3rd, 20131 hr

The Adventure Show heads to the north west for a 90-mile cycling event. The Bealach Mor includes the biggest road climb in the UK, with 2,000 feet of ascent in just six miles.

5. Glencoe Marathon

The team are in Glencoe, the setting for one of the most dramatic marathon courses anywhere in the UK, and there is a look ahead to the Winter Olympics.

6. Part 1: Iona to Glen Affric - Adventure Show Special

Cameron McNeish undertakes a walk across the Highlands. In this first programme, Cameron walks from Iona to Glen Affric.

7. Part 2: Glen Affric to Tarbat Ness - Adventure Show Special

Cameron McNeish walks the final part of his coast-to-coast route across the Highlands, finishing in Easter Ross.

The team head north of Inverness for the Strathpuffer 24, one of the world's toughest mountain bike races, which takes place during the middle of winter and 17 hours of darkness.

9. Colin Prior - Mountain Man

This month's programme follows landscape photgrapher Colin Prior as he begins a five-year project to capture the majesty and grandeur of the Karakoram mountains in Pakistan.
