Sixteen contestants split into all-female and all-male tribes try to persevere through weeks of challenges in a remote part of South America's Amazon jungle to become the final survivor.
2. Storms
The discovery of hidden food inflames tribal passions; the men stay dry while the women get drenched during a downpour; the second castaway is voted off.
3. Girl Power
The women elect an unwilling team leader; the men and women interact during a reward challenge; the women decide to use their bodies to distract the men.
4. Trapped
A tribe member without allies changes strategies; a new alliance falls prey to sickness; a dispute over chores leads to dissension; the reward challenge winners celebrate with a feast.
5. Pick-up Sticks
The survivors learn what the new tribe dynamics will be; accusations fly after a conversation is overheard; one tribe feels completely in control until an injury occurs.
6. More Than Meats the Eye
One castaway forms an alliance with a hated tribe member; a reward challenge has enormous impact; one man takes a very special bath.
7. Girls Gone Wilder
Female castaways strip to gain their favourite food items; a castaway struggles over a departed tribe member; a locked box brings tribal changes.

The participants receive some tree mail, along with weapons they are instructed to practise with for a later challenge.
10. The First 27 Days
Original footage from the first 27 days in the Amazon; the women come to terms with their new environment; Jeanne cooks following the ousting of JoAnna; Christy teaches sign language to her new tribe.
11. Q & A
A reward challenge turns into an auction for letters from home; tribe members comfortable in their alliances take it easy; one castaway promises to vote against a trusted ally.
12. Sour Grapes
Alliances crumble, leaving the castaways with no idea where they stand in the tribe; a tribe mate reveals an ally's plans; one castaway decides to make everyone miserable; an incredible sacrifice is made.
13. The Amazon Heats Up
The boys have a 3-2 numbers advantage over the girls, leaving them in danger; the 12th survivor is voted off.
14. ...And Then There Were Four
The final four contestants reach the end of the competition as one final survivor is finally crowned winner.
15. The Amazon Reunion
The 16 participants of the competition convene in New York to look back on their experiences, highlighting the highs and lows of their time.
