Series 8 Episodes
1. Episode 1
The highs and lows of modern farming at Cannon Hall Farm in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, with Helen Skelton, Jules Hudson and JB Gill leading the way. JB Gill explores a green revolution taking root down some forgotten back streets in Manchester and, in honour of 75 years since the Land Girls Army, there is a celebration of the women in farming keeping the nation fed today.
2. Episode 2
Rob and Dave Nicholson welcome the arrival of a shire foal to their beloved mare, Sapphire. The pint-sized farmers taking the countryside by storm are introduced, as well as six-year-old Olivia, who isn't scared of getting her hands dirty. Helen, JB Gill and Jules also have their hands full bottle feeding five orphaned goats.
3. Episode 3
Helen Skelton meets a donkey foal at Cannon Hall Farm that had a dramatic journey into the world, while JB Gill talks to a farmer giving a voice to those often under-represented in agriculture. Plus, there are plenty of births at the farm with Rob and Dave Nicholson.
4. Episode 4
On their farm in South Yorkshire, brothers Rob and Dave Nicholson have to look after a very poorly cow about to give birth. Jules Hudson heads off into the great outdoors to soak up the magic of spring, while there's an egg hunt on around the farm in the spirit of Easter.
