Sankalp - Season 1 (2026)

Fresh batch of Gurukul students are made to undertake the ‘Sankalp’ and sent off to Chanakya Coaching Centre(CCC) in Delhi for UPSC preparations by the perplexing Ma’at Saab Kanhaiya Lal. Ma’at Saab’s birthday revelry takes an unexpected hue.

Ma’at Saab asks his favourite prodigy Aditya for a ‘Guru Dakshina’ that stuns everybody. Will Aditya do what Ma’at Saab has asked of him?

CM Prashant’s election campaign starts off on the wrong foot with student activist Jayanti hogging it asking him some tough questions. Parveen hands Aditya his forced leave letter. Meanwhile, CM Prashant’s masterstroke of Free electricity to win the elections encounters a major hindrance.

Aditya leads a raid at GURUKUL on the occasion of BASANT PANCHAMI upon allegations of child trafficking against Ma’at saab. Waqar walks down the memory lane where the trio of him; Prashant and Kanhaiya Lal were on the same path hands in glove and not in each other’s path.

Counterfeit currency trail leads Parveen to Satnaam but he ends up dead. Back in Patna, there’s an attack on Madhuri and her parents leaving her panicked. Waqar comes to the rescue. Kasturi takes PARI hostage and flees, leaving Parveen frustrated and guilty for putting PARI’s life in danger.

Parveen confronts Aditya if he has sold her out to Waqar as she’s taken off the case following the Sunil Kumar fiasco…cracks begin to widen between Prashant and Waqar courtesy the most precious student of Ma’at saab. Majumdaar’s offer of split CMship is rejected by Prashant. Aditya arrives at Majumdar’s residence with an arrest warrant.

An assassination attempt is made on Prashant during a press conference. Waqar receives an anonymous courier which lands him behind the bars. Kasturi calls Parveen and strikes a deal in exchange for Pari’s life.

Parveen’s death leaves the trio of Vasudev; Aditya and Ma’at saab crestfallen. Aditya questions Ma’at saab over the sighting of Parveen’s killer Kasturi in Gurukul. Kasturi’s connection to Aditya dates back to his childhood.

Waqar comes out of jail and hands Aditya the ‘key’ that could unlock Aditya’s past related to Aditya’s biological father and turn his equation with his revered ma’at saab upside down. Sattu is earmarked as a worthy addition to the army of Kanhaiya Lal by Daddan. Suhasini is kidnapped from Patna.

Waqar puts forth his condition to Kanhaiya Lal for the safe release of Suhasini. Madhuri’s god-bharai ceremony at gurukul is interrupted by an earth-shattering development laying the groundwork for the modern-day Chanakya and Chandragupt face-off.
