When troubled transferee Lorelei Rios moves into a new place, she must share a unit with the aloof Loki Mendez. Their clashing personalities spark tension, until a secret admirer triggers a chain of events that forces them to work together.

Lorelei is scared by strange voices in her apartment while Loki pushes her to join the Q.E.D. Club. Just as she reluctantly becomes the club’s chronicler, Clark University is shaken by a shocking incident in the chemistry lab.

Lorelei and Loki investigate a shocking double death, using observation and coded clues to uncover the truth. As they chase justice, Lorelei learns of Loki’s painful past, but when a betrayal puts her in danger, they realize the threat is far from over.

Lorelei hides from her father at Rosetta’s dorm, only to get caught up in a new murder mystery. As the Q.E.D. Club grows in reputation, Loki faces tension with his brother Luthor, and Lorelei must navigate dangerous tasks that test her trust in him.
