1. Vampire
When a famous photographer is found dead with a stake through his heart and his body drained of blood, Patience and new DI Frankie Monroe seek a logical answer to the vampire-like mystery.
2. Murder in the Minster
A music student is found dead in the rehearsal room. When her professor dies too, Frankie and Patience are thrust into an unharmonious world of classical music. Patience's careful listening leads to a spectacular showdown in York Minster.
3. The Magpie
A lawyer is shot dead in a packed boardroom, but no one saw the killer. A dead magpie at the scene leads Patience and Frankie into a magical tangle of lies. As they work together, Patience sees through illusions and helps to uncover a darker truth.
4. The Timetable
A young autistic girl is found hiding at the Railway Museum. She has witnessed her father's murder, and her mother has disappeared, but she's unable to tell anyone what happened. Can Patience connect with her and gain her trust?
5. The Runes
When a Viking expert drops dead just before a big speech, Patience finds a message that hints at foul play... and then his colleague dies too. And Patience's romance with Elliot hits the rocks.
6. Paco's Revenge
Resentment boils over between Patience and Frankie as they investigate the death of a botanist. And Jake takes Patience speed-dating.
7. A Monk's Tale
When a monk is found dead in a chapel, unholy secrets surface at the monastery. Meanwhile, Patience finds herself under the spotlight, and starts to rethink her decision about Elliot.
8. Hostage
Patience and Frankie are held at gunpoint by an escaped prisoner, and a figure from Frankie’s past resurfaces. Patience comes to a realization about her feelings, and a visitor brings unexpected news.
