Guy heads to Waimate to meet a woman raising wallabies, but stumbles into a water crisis. Can he solve it? Unlikely. But he's all Waimate has.
2. Episode 2
Guy investigates Waimate's water issue, and looks for someone to blame. He learns the truth goes deeper, maybe even all the way to the top.
3. Episode 3
Guy investigates Waimate's water crisis, gets sidetracked by burgers, turned down by ECan, inspired at the marae, and decides it's up to him to fight for the town's future.
4. Episode 4
Guy tries to fix Waimate's nitrate crisis, fails, then investigates a burger shop mystery. That also fails. Now his ego (and the burger shop) are in ruins.
5. Episode 5
Guy's desperate to win back Waimate, so after a run-in with Motorbike Jesus, he goes big - helping his mate get a divorce. Will this PR stunt actually work?
6. Episode 6
Guy turns to ecologist Mike Joy for hope, but doesn't find it. So he writes a hit song with Waimate locals to save the world, what could go wrong?
