Miniseries Plot
When Maria Merryweather is orphaned, she must move to Moonacre Manor with her ever-faithful governess, Miss Heliotrope, and her Spaniel, Wiggins. Maria isn't at the Manor long before she discovers that her new home has a tragic past, which she becomes determined to correct.
Moonacre Miniseries aired on April 6th, 1994.
Miniseries Episodes
1. Episode 1
Two orphaned children and their governess travel to the remote Moonacre Manor where their uncle is caught up in an ancient feud.
2. Episode 2
As a new arrival at Moonacre Manor, Maria discovers that only she can fulfil a ghostly prophecy.
3. Episode 3
Maria realises that only she can resolve the feud.
4. Episode 4
Taken hostage, Maria confronts Lady and Simon Blackheart and plans her escape.
5. Episode 5
The Merryweathers return the Blackheart water supply.
6. Episode 6
Maria fulfils the prophesy, ghosts are laid to rest, and Lady Blackheart gets her come-uppance.
