Jools welcomes to the show Manchester band Elbow, returning with their tenth album Audio Vertigo; Bristol's Idles, who perform a couple of tracks from their album Tangk; American country star Lainey Wilson with her single Country's Cool Again; Bafta winner Samantha Morton, who has teamed up with producer Richard Russell on their project Sam Morton, with a track from their forthcoming album Daffodils & Dirt; and 25-year-old singer-songwriter Myles Smith, who makes his television debut ahead of the release of his debut EP, You Promised a Lifetime.

Jools welcomes to the show the legendary Paul Weller, who performs a couple of songs from his 17th solo album, 66; South Shields’s Nadine Shah, who performs a couple of tracks from her fifth album Filthy Underneath; tour de force duo Bob Vylan, who perform the track Hunger Games, taken from their third album Humble as the Sun; folk artist Katherine Priddy, who performs a song from her second album The Pendulum Swing; and south London singer Rachel Chinouriri, who performs her track Never Need Me from her debut album What a Devastating Turn of Events.

Jools welcomes to the show The Black Keys, who perform a couple of tracks from their 12th album, Ohio Players, including On the Game, which features a guest appearance from their co-writer Noel Gallagher. Also featuring is Bristol’s Beth Gibbons, who has just released her solo debut album, Lives Outgrown; east London’s Ghetts with a couple of songs from his fourth album, On Purpose, With Purpose, including the track Double Standards, featuring south London’s Sampha; Shaznay Lewis with a track from her second solo album, Pages; and New York-born, south India-raised LA artist Ganavya, who performs the track forgive me my from her third album, like the sky I’ve been too quiet.

Jools welcomes to the show Leeds band Yard Act, who perform a couple of tracks from their second album, Where’s My Utopia?; legend of British music Gabrielle with her song Miss You from her album A Place in Your Heart; New Zealand multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and producer Jordan Rakei with two songs from his fifth album, The Loop; Adrianne Lenker, best known as the frontwoman of the band Big Thief, who performs the emotional song Sadness as a Gift; west London visual artist and musician Lava La Rue, who performs their single Push N Shuv, taken from their debut album Starface; and south London band Fat Dog, who perform All The Same, taken from their debut album WOOF.

Jools welcomes to the show Sheffield's Richard Hawley with a couple of tracks from his album In This City They Call You Love; Californian pop star Remi Wolf, who performs her single Cinderella from her album Big Ideas; Nia Archives from Yorkshire, performing two tracks from her Top 20 album Silence Is Loud; south Indiana singer-songwriter Stephen Wilson Jr, making his debut with his song Year to Be Young 1994 from his debut album søn of dad; and Somaliland's Sahra Halgan, who performs Sharaf from her third album Hiddo Dhawr. Also, Jools chats to music producer, academic and founding member of Steel Pulse Mykaell Riley about a new exhibition at the British Library celebrating 500 years of black British music entitled Beyond the Bassline.
