Jane gets up close with icebergs and wildlife; braves dangerous waters in a two-person kayak; and explores the mountainous glacial terrain of Livingstone Island on foot, coming face to face with elephant seals.
2. South Georgia and the Falklands Islands
Jane meets people who have chosen to settle in some of the most remote outposts on earth.
3. Uruguay & Southern Brazil
On the first South American leg of her journey, Jane tours Uruguay and Brazil, enjoying authentic beef barbecue, visiting a vineyard, taking a speedboat tour, exploring caves and seeing dolphins up close.
4. Brazil
Jane takes a guided jeep tour of beautiful Ilhabela and witnesses 'singing rocks', sails along the Costa Verde coastline, and takes a cable car to the top of Rio's Sugarloaf mountain.
5. The Mediterranean
Jane's epic trip continues in the Med as she explores historic streets in Gallipoli, follows in the footsteps of movie legends in Sicily, and soaks up the glamour of Capri.
6. The Arctic Circle
Jane reaches her final destination, in the Arctic Circle, where she kayaks in icy fjords, encounters polar bears and walruses, and visits an extraordinary glacier.
