Holly - Series 1 (1972)

Holly and David are celebrating their second wedding anniversary when she’s drugged and abducted by Tom, a college contemporary who has spent several intervening years in an institution and who is openly obsessed with Holly.

Holly is imprisoned in a derelict windmill.

David is clueless as to what has happened to Holly, and Holly is reluctant to explain her strange attitude to her captor.

Holly escapes from Tom and goes into therapy with Gordon, a psychologist and ex-classmate from uni.

Holly makes the heartbreaking decision to leave David, and move on with her life.

David is forced to accept Holly's departure, and Holly moves in with Gordon.
