Grange Hill - Season 2 (1979)

The start of a new term brings new faces, a new headmaster and new problems, especially for Benny who is suspected of stealing.

Benny's friends are convinced that he's been stealing from them and refuse to have him in the football team.

Justin thinks he has found a champion in Andrew, but making friends can be hard work.

Trisha reluctantly agrees to call for the unpunctual Simon on her way to school, but this leads to more complications than she'd bargained for.

As Penny prepares for her first School Council meeting she discovers that an official position has its problems.

Simon is in trouble with Mr Baxter. By the end of the day he's in much worse trouble, all because of Tucker and the Tremblers.

Simon is in big trouble, but things can't get any worse - can they ?

Despite a warning from the police about a child molester in the area, Cathy takes a short cut home.

Cathy is disturbed by the sudden arrival of her father, and she falls out with Trisha. All might be well, but for Madelin's interference.

Trisha won't speak to Cathy, so when the teachers go on strike, it is with Madelin that Cathy visits the shopping precinct. There, they are soon both in serious trouble.

The Students Action Group start picketing sports activities to further their campaign for the abolition of school uniform, but they reckon without Mr Baxter.

Cathy makes it up with Trisha, but they are soon in trouble when Jessica Samuels organises another protest over the school uniform.

As the opening night of the school play approaches, Andrew seems to be sickening for something.

After the school play, all is returning to normal at Grange Hill, but Tucker is late. This might mean trouble...

A weekend field trip in the country should have been quiet and peaceful, but Doyle and his friends are soon in trouble.

Penny and Susi are lost in the forest and a large-scale search is mounted.

Susi's parents threaten to take her away from Grange Hill if she doesn't do well in the exams.

Exams are over, term is ending quietly until Brookdale issues a challenge to Grange Hill.
