Season 8 Plot

The fly on the wall series following Formula 2 returns in 2026. Episodes are uploaded to F1's YouTube channel normally on the WEDNESDAY after each race, which is the first airdate (not the date of each race!) and the titles and episode descriptions are those that F1 themselves use on the official F1 YouTube channel.

In this episode we caught up with IndyCar star Colton Herta as he embarks on his first F2 campaign and some F2 favourites as the first laps of 2026 are completed in testing.

2. 2026 Australian Grand Prix

The season begins! The lights go out for the first race weekend of the year and the paddock is back in full swing. We caught up with Alex Dunne after news broke of him signing with Alpine Driver Academy, and spoke to Colton Herta as he experienced his first-ever F2 race weekend. There was drama on track as the Rodin teammates came into contact during the Feature Race in a tense start to the season. The championship fight is underway.
