Luke is struggling to find a sitter for his daughter while he has an interview for a job. Michelle tries to help, but is shocked by Luke's desperate behavior. Simon and Will have the perfect date. However, is Will too good to be true?

A patient of Daniels wants to die at home, rather than at hospital, so Cherry goes to visit him. He doesn't want his family there, which Cherry finds hard to understand. Daniel also tries to find out from Julia and Heston what's happening with the practice, now that they are a partner down. Smithy has a little surprise for Ruth, he's got a baby from somewhere. He thinks it's theirs, but Ruth is totally shocked. Has Smithy lost his marbles again?

A former rugby player, whose now in a wheelchair, gets into a fight when drunk with mates at a lap dancing club. He injures himself. His put upon wife gets Heston involved. His wife, it seems, is keeping a secret: She's a lap dancer. There're more tap dancing rehearsals, Ruth is really good, though her rehearsal is interrupted when Smithy turns up. He's been tap dancing in the snow, with no shoes on.

Rob struggles to work out the cause of a car accident when the only witness seems like a timewaster, but Jimmi digs deeper and finds the witness has a rare condition which could save the driver's life. Ruth confronts Smithy about his recent behaviour, and Simon fears Will is going off him.

As Smithy's erratic behaviour pushes Ruth to the edge, she has to struggle with a big decision; does she call for help or let Smithy finally be free? Cherry's cynicism provokes Simon to give Will an ultimatum.

Zara and Daniel argue over the well-being of a meddling OAP, whose stress levels rise as he tries to incriminate his drug-dealing neighbour. Henry tries to help Ruth come to terms with Smithy's sectioning, but Ruth has some big questions about her future.

Michelle intervenes when the parents of a missing teenager are led on a mystery tour around Letherbridge. Simon has the day from hell, while Julia takes action against Daniel and Zara.

Charlie and Heston go for a late night Balti, and end up causing some racially aggravated fuss. Jimmi goes to a late night home visit. The woman and her daughter are both fans of his from his radio show, which brings back memories of his recent kidnapping by his 'number one fan'.

Daniel and Zara are on their very worst behaviour at a team building course. Karen makes a depressing financial realisation, while Simon's birthday party doesn't go to plan.

It's the second day of Zara and Daniel's Team Building course, and there's a new leader, Julian having taken the day off for 'personal time'. Zara's in a mood over Daniel's night time exploits with Daisy. The day ends with it all getting a bit serious. Heston meets the IT guy, who turns out to be sexy Susan. He gets drawn in to her personal activities. Simon is worried about Will's strange behavior last night, when he disappeared from his birthday party.

A friend of Imogen's gets more than she bargained for when she makes a play for a rich elderly man. Karen is shocked to find out what everyone else earns, and Julia is put in a difficult position regarding the partnership.

Ruth's day is turned upside town by a tearaway visitor to the Mill. Simon and Will spend a romantic day together while Zara's father is released from prison.

An attractive female patient of Daniel's has been telling her mate all about their night of passion. It seems she's besotted with him, and turn's up at the Mill, but is she telling the truth? Simon discovers that Will is married with a kid. Karen and Rob argue about money.

Cherry unpicks the secrets and underhand tricks of a teenage romance. Life reunited with her father is a huge disappointment for Zara.

The elderly mother of a Downs Syndrome girl is about to go on a trip to America, only she's a bit poorly and has to get the doctor out. She's been not-so-secretly earning extra money as a phone sex worker, so her daughter takes up the mantle. Julia is a bit shocked. Zara takes her dad to a local Over 50's Community Coffee Morning, though she can't wait to get out, it reminds her of 'Cocoon'. Her dad wants to play table tennis though. Poor Zara. Simon turns to Ruth to talk about his break-up.

Will has to play judge, jury and executioner to a liar. And Simon struggles to cope with Will's absence in his life.

A romantic tryst and a massive hairy metalhead ensure that Jack's first day in halls does not go quite to plan. And has romance really left Simon's life?

A troublesome young actor is having terrible nightmares and heart trouble. Heston helps him out. Karen is on industrial work-to-rule, which causes lots of bother. It's all back on with Simon and Will, but Simon doesn't want Cherry to know. Ruth becomes his partner-in-crime to stop her from knowing.

A vagrant is caught by Rob, just after he claims that he killed a girl by touching her with his bare hand. She was just involved in a car accident though. Jimmi gets involved. Will he be his next 'victim'. Zara's father continues to be a bit down-in-the-dumps. He burns his hand, so Cherry goes around to look at it. They have some ironing fun and she stops for dinner, much to Zara's annoyance. Heston gives Karen an envelope with some money in it, to hopefully stop her work-to-rule. Unfortunately he's taken it from the biscuit fund.

It's snowing again in Letherbridge, and Michelle has had her tyre slashed. Luckily a neighbor is there to help. He is a big Mowtown fan and has a bow tie given to him by Smokey Robinson in 1965. He's living in the past, and secretly fancies her. Imagine her surprise when he tries to kiss her at the local tea dance. Zara drags her dad to a posh restaurant, but it all ends in tears. He wants to move into a place of his own. Ruth has to find someone else to lead the tap dance troupe, as Charlie has gout again. She targets Jimmi.

Charlie helps a mother and daughter after they discover they are both dating the same man. Zara has an emotional turn when helping her dad move into his new sheltered accommodation. She thinks it's poky and "you can't even open the windows". Jack tries to cheer her up. Julia starts hunting down the missing petty cash, so many biscuits just seems wrong.

Rob catches an incompetent colleague in an amorous embrace with Susie, whilst both at work. What will he do? Immie helps a male friend when he sees the girl he's supposed to marry out with another man.

Cherry goes and sees a couple, the wife is struggling with memory loss. She doesn't remember the big crash. Simon has it out again with Will. He wants him to leave his wife. Charlie sees them hug, and has a go at them for being 'abnormal'. Jimmi tries to sort out the Karen problem.

Heston's rhetoric proves invaluable in a matter of life and death for an eccentric family. A surprise visitor at the Mill makes Simon question his future with Will. Will Zara and Daniel be able to secure the money he needs for the partnership?

Heston clashes with a charismatic traveller who claims to possess 'second sight' - when she sets up camp in the car park, Heston makes it his business to remove her.

Love is in the air for Jimmi at the police station when his methadone addict patient tries to play matchmaker, while Zara has a big shock for a despondent Daniel. Simon goes to see Will, determined to end things once and for all, but can he go through with it?

Simon is shocked when Sophie corners him at the Mill. Heston is furious when he discovers that Julia has lied to Daniel about the partnership money, but they have to formulate a plan quickly when Daniel confronts them.

Michelle helps her friend Josh confront his mother's past when his girlfriend unearths a dark family secret; will Josh be able to forgive his mother for lying to him? Will and Sophie reach a compromise about their marriage, while Heston has an idea to breathe new life into the tap dance routine.

Karen discovers that she has become the unwitting star of a unicycling comedian's interactive comedy act - will she see the funny side? Simon desperately tries to ignore Will's pleas to see him - will he break? And Zara gives Daniel an idea about his future career.

When Julia discovers that a young, head-strong patient at The Mill has sold her virginity to an older man, she tries to convince her that it might not be a good idea.

An offensively ageist patient causes Charlie to miss a potentially lethal condition. Can he track down the patient before it is too late? Daniel discovers pride comes before a fall, and Ruth frantically attempts to fix the costumes for the gala.

Simon attempts to save a man who takes drastic steps after his wife falls into a coma. Unbeknown to him, his wife is suffering a similar internal struggle to live. Cherry moves back in with Simon and decides to cheer him up with home cooking.

A young girl goes to Zara for help, convinced her elderly aunt is going mad. Meanwhile, a young intruder gets more than he bargained for when he breaks into the aunt's house. Daniel plucks up the courage to say sorry to Julia, and Cherry throws herself at a bemused Heston!

Rob is assaulted by a drunken 15-year-old girl and takes her into custody. The girl refuses to reveal her name, and so Rob does some investigating of his own.

Heston suffers from foot-in-mouth disease when reviewing Cherry's style in clothing. As stage fright starts to take a hold of Ruth just one day before the gala, she desperately searches for a way out. Jack and Immie clash as they both struggle to get their work done under one roof.

It is the day of the gala, but will Ruth be able to overcome her stage fright and pull off her elaborate solo? Imogen endeavours to boost Ruth's confidence.

Michelle takes matters into her own hands when she fears that an elderly patient is being mistreated by his two sons. Charlie gets some good news, while Simon's day goes from bad to worse.

Simon finds himself tangled up with a morally ambiguous student. Daniel wants to know what's going on with Zara, while Julia gets some relationship advice.

Ruth finds herself with a sweet stalker who she discovers actually needs someone to care for him. Jimmi tries to give nervous young patient Colin the benefit of his dating experience, but is alarmed to discover that his protege could actually be stalking the object of his affections.

It's the day of Heston's soiree, but will Cherry be able to keep up the pretence? And it is crunch time for Julia and Rowly as they go on a date.

Elaine meets a handsome stranger when she gets lost a St Phil's on her way to a meeting.
