Makio's friend visits to meet Asa. Later, Makio meets with an old acquaintance for some advice.

Makio and Asa return home to sort through her family's belongings, and Asa attends middle school graduation.

Asa begins high school as Makio grapples with the new responsibilities of being her guardian.

Asa struggles to choose an extracurricular activity as she recalls old memories of Minori.
