Two thugs arrive at Coppers End.
4. The Drunken Irishman
A drunken Irishman has a problem – he can't get into jail.
5. Sgt. Short in Love
Short's new romance changes him as a man.
6. The Casualty Ward
PC Edwards has gambling fever but ends up in the casualty ward.
7. The 12 Year Old
Ripper blackmails Pringle into looking after his 12-year-old son. And that means trouble for everyone.
8. Agatha Pilbeam
Agatha Pilbeam tells the men in Coppers End about a bank hold-up.
9. The Box of Blood
Two lorry drivers find a sinister-looking box leaking blood.
10. The Arrangement
Why is the constabulary at Coppers End moving faster than usual? Edwards announces that he and Pringle have come to an arrangement.
11. Fog
Coppers End takes to examining itself.
12. The Con
Ripper catches a con man — or is the con man catching him?
13. Caught Him – For a While!
Everyone at Coppers End is shocked — someone has committed a crime and Ripper arrests him. But then Short takes action.
