Inspector Candice Renoir is as self-assured as ever as she and her unit tackle a string of challenging cases but when Antoine returns after a year away and is named the brigade's new chief, intense passion turns into fiery complications.

1. Beauty Is Pain
Candice has decided to turn down her transfer and is back on friendly terms with her boss - at least she thinks so. Everything seems to be going great, but when Antoine returns, where will he be assigned and how will he fit into Candice's life?
2. Revenge Is a Dish Best Served Cold
A surprising crime scene awaits Inspector Renoir and her unit when a young woman is discovered with her head bashed in under the skeleton of a T-Rex. Meanwhile, at loggerheads with Antoine, Candice gets revenge by getting herself a new captain.
3. He Who Laughs Last Laughs Longest
The murder of 60-year-old Pierre Rossi - who was recently involved with a young, cheerful, and beautiful blonde named "Candice Renoir", rattles the unit. Candice faces the prospect that someone may have stolen her identity to commit the crime.
4. Ask No Questions and Hear No Lies
The body of a handsome young African man is found tied up and drowned. Visiting his widow, Candice starts poking around in the world of female sex tourism. Meanwhile, an overwhelmed Antoine has to bring his 18-month-old daughter to work with him.
5. A Dog Is a Man's Best Friend
A jogger finds the body of a young woman on a trail with a purebred dog standing guard over her. Discovering that the victim and her dog were a winning duo that participated in agility competitions, Candice and her dog join the victim's kennel club.
6. The Straw that Broke the Camel's Back
A mother driven to extremes by the constant bullying of her child takes Candice and her son, Leo, hostage at his school. The nightmare worsens when Candice runs into the German teacher, who happens to be an old boyfriend holding a grudge.
7. The Road to Hell Is Paved in Good Intentions
A tragic death shocks Candice's unit especially Antoine, who thought he'd lost Candice as well. Paul Périer, the in-house shrink, decides group therapy would be good for them. A nice plan... that gets derailed when they see a murder unfold live.
8. All's Fair in Love and War
An 18-year-old Swiss national's body is found dead with clear signs of a struggle and a Foreign Legion card on his body. Antoine infiltrates the Foreign Legion regiment, where he discovers dark passions lurking among the service members.
9. There's Strength in Numbers, Part 1
After the troubling disappearance of an entire family, luminol dusting reveals large traces of blood, which DNA testing links to each family member. Was it a quadruple murder, or is there another, less dire, explanation?
10. There's Strength in Numbers, Part 2
Candice tries to understand the causes of the sudden disappearance of a family.
