Season 5 Plot
After her lover is tragically killed, Candice Renoir is eager to get right back to work But has she returned too soon and is she up to the job? Does she still believe in love? Where will the mutual attraction between Inspector Renoir and Captain Dumas lead? If she can also deal with the challenges of raising her four kids, Candice just might find out.

1. A fault confessed is half forgiven
Candice and the team are called to a "murder party," where they have a hard time convincing the participants that one of them really has been killed.
2. Birds of a feather flock together
Recovering from an injury, Candice finds herself confined to a wheelchair and wearing a neck brace but that doesn't stop her from going undercover to crack a case.
3. Youth must pass
Candice looks for a link between a shooting at a street café and some erotic photos posted on the internet. Meanwhile, her chemistry with Antoine begins to heat up.
4. Money has no smell
The murder of a court clerk takes the team into the shadowy world of conservatorship, with Candice posing as an "adult under guardianship" to get to the truth.
5. Desperate times call for desperate measures
Candice investigates when the owner of a riding school that offers equine therapy is shot dead with a hunting rifle. The detective gets a little therapy herself.
6. Better late than never
After the team are called to a villa whose owner has been tasered, they find an unexpected guest on the premises and end up on the trail of a serial killer.
7. Curiosity is a bad habit
Could a whistleblower, a body partially eaten by eels and a family destroyed by a health scandal somehow all be tied together? Candice and her team try to find a link.
8. At night, all cats are grey
The team infiltrate the dating site used by their latest victim, who was killed in her home just ahead of a romantic liaison. Candice looks for a little love of her own.
9. What a woman wants... (Part 1)
A woman is murdered the same way her prostitute mother had been killed back in 1975. During the case, Candice suffers an accident at home and falls into a coma.
10. What a woman wants... (Part 2)
Candice"s coma takes her back to 1975, where she investigates the murder that happened that year. She manages to solve it but can she now manage to wake up?
