Season 1 Episodes
1. Butterfly Island
The Wilson family operates a charming, untouched resort on Butterfly Island, despite facing financial difficulties and stiff competition from new, glamorous resorts nearby. In the first episode of the series, a young Vietnamese refugee named Vo Diem arrives and unwittingly becomes entangled in a developer's criminal scheme to displace the Wilson family from the island.
2. The Stowaway
A stowaway faces a life-or-death decision.
3. The Collector
Sgt. Connolly places Vo Diem in a prison cell and instructs Charlie to charge him with vandalism. An explosion occurs near Greg as he swims away from Butterfly Island.
4. Runaway
Following a disagreement with his uncle, Vo Diem elects to leave once more.
5. The Fugitive
After trying to escape and search for his parents, Vo Diem is caught in a storm at sea and comes ashore near a lighthouse, where he hears David Lee and his associates discussing plans to set fire to Butterfly Island.
6. Cyclone Bertie
As the Wilson family shelters from a hurricane, Vo Diem alone witnesses a sabotage plot against Charlie's workshop in the lighthouse.
7. The Stowaway (2)
Vo Diem hurries to catch an Indonesia-bound trawler that will hopefully lead him to his parents.
8. Kidnapped
Jackie Wilson is kidnapped by David Lee’s thugs but escapes with Vo Diem through the mangroves. Charlie Wilson then learns Lee’s motive for buying Butterfly Island.
