Cycle 1 Plot
Britain's Next Top Model, Cycle 1 was the first series of Britain's Next Top Model and it was broadcast on LIVINGtv. The international destinations of the series were Paris, France and Milan, Italy. The prize was a contract management and representation from Models 1, a contract with Ruby & Millie cosmetics, and a fashion cover for B Magazine. In addition, the winner had another contract management from Beatrice Models in Milan. The show was followed by a short programme entitled 'The Evictees Story' which showed the eliminated model and her journey through the competition. This was then followed by 'Britain's Next Top Model: Confessionals' which showed each girl in the confessional room talking about the other girls which wasn't shown on the show. For the second series 'The Evictees Story' was dropped and 'Confessionals' was dropped for the third. The first cycle was hosted by former supermodel Lisa Butcher and judged along with Marie Helvin and Jonathan Phang. The winner was 20 year old Lucy Ratcliffe from Newcastle upon Tyne, England.

Cycle 1 Episodes
1. Episode 1
The girls are picked up across London on a Routemaster London bus.
2. Episode 2
The girls are sent to a salon where they meet celebrity hairdresser Lee Stafford Johnston.
3. Episode 3
The girls are sent to meet choreographer to the stars Andy Turner.
4. Episode 4
The girls head off to Theatro Technis to learn how to study a script.
5. Episode 5
The girls spend the day in the house where they receive tutoring in nutrition.
6. Episode 6
After a session with yoga guru Howard Napper, the girls meet agent/model, Jonathan Phang.
7. Episode 7
The girls are shocked when they are met by Angela Dunn at Waterloo.
8. Episode 8

9. Episode 9
The girls arrive in Milan and are met by Lisa who shares her experiences of the city.
10. Episode 10
The three final girls were taken for dinner by Lisa to congratulate them and celebrate.
