Season 1 Plot
Set on the stunning South Pacific island of Samoa, contestants ranging in age from 23 to 62 are deprived of basic comforts and must build their own shelter, light their own fires, gather their own food and fend for themselves. A private investigator, a professional cricketer, a criminal lawyer, a firefighter and a magician are among the 24 contestants give up all creature comforts in a bid to win Australian Survivor. Their bodies are pushed to the extreme, competing in epic and physically demanding challenges, while mentally they must navigate their way through cunning and strategic gameplay. Faced with extreme temperatures and fierce tropical storms, contestants are stripped to their core – and only one will emerge triumphant. The ultimate winner will walk away with a life-changing experience, half a million dollars and the coveted title of Australia’s Sole Survivor 2016.

Season 1 Episodes
1. Episode 1
24 Australians arrive on the tropical island of Samoa ready to outwit, outplay and outlast each other in order to win the half a million dollar prize and the title of sole survivor.
2. Episode 2
The tribes compete in an Immunity Challenge to avoid tribal council where they will be forced to vote a team mate off the island. Who will be the second contestant to leave the island?
3. Episode 3
A physical Reward Challenge will push the tribes to their limits for a tarp & cushions. Later, the Immunity Challenge sees the tribes compete on a puzzle to avoid heading to Tribal Council.
4. Episode 4
One tribe is struggling to make fire and morale is at an all-time low. They must win today's Immunity Challenge to lift their spirits & avoid Tribal Council to vote another contestant off the island.
5. Episode 5
Facing elimination, the three tribes head to the Immunity Challenge. Which team will return to camp triumphant and which teams will be left to ponder what happened at Tribal Council?
6. Episode 6
The tribes are still reeling after last night's tribal council but will need to put their differences aside and unite to compete in an epic Immunity Challenge.
7. Episode 7
The reward challenge will set tummies rumbling as the contestants compete for a BBQ feast. In the Immunity Challenge each tribe will be challenged to carry their own weight to avoid Tribal Council.
8. Episode 8
Last night's losing tribe is on edge after another tense elimination. One contestant is feeling increasingly insecure about their spot in the tribe. Will they be eliminated next?
9. Episode 9
As the dust settles from last night's shock tribal council result, some tribe mates are feeling anxious about their position in the game and scramble to make new alliances.
10. Episode 10
One tribe mate is left feeling guilty and in shock after last night's tribal council. The result has caused a rift in the tribe and a very obvious division between some tribe mates.
11. Episode 11
After receiving a vote at tribal council, one tribe member is shocked after surviving the vote. They are hurt and angry, but do they have the numbers to seek revenge?
12. Episode 12
Tribal tensional continues to escalate when two people come to blows over their sleeping arrangements. With the losing team heading to tribal council who will be the next person to leave the island?
13. Episode 13
Which tribe can muster the strength to win the reward challenge for a huge traditional Samoan feast? Plus, Jonathan reveals a massive twist that will give a tribe a huge advantage in the game.
14. Episode 14
One tribemate wakes the morning after Tribal Council furious that their strategy has been exposed while other tribemates bask in their new found power heading into the Reward & Immunity Challenge.
15. Episode 15
One tribe is still shocked after the last tribal council, but they try and rally each other back together anticipating another Immunity Challenge to avoid another elimination.
16. Episode 16
After the final tribe merger the castaways jostle for position to control the game. With power held by a select few one contestant sets upon a plan to change the game but is it too little too late?
17. Episode 17
One tribe mate is furious after last night's tribal council and is determined to get revenge. At the reward challenge Jonathan announces that the winning team will each receive a letter from home.
18. Episode 18
Last night's tribal council left alliances exposed and the tribe in turmoil. Paranoia sets in for some tribe mates. Will they have to turn on each other just to keep themselves in the game?
19. Episode 19
Today's reward challenge is for a delicious Sunday Roast which will be perfect fuel for the immunity challenge. Who will be safe from tonight's tribal council vote?
20. Episode 20
Tribal politics continue to escalate but one tribemate thinks their back is against the wall and no amount of scrambling can save them. Will they get a lifeline?
21. Episode 21
Some tribemates are furious about the accusations made at the last tribal council. Now with the jury there to watch the discussions play out, will it impact their chance of winning?
22. Episode 22
With alliances hanging in the balance, the contestants head to the reward challenge in an effort to win a luxury spa night. Later, who will be voted out and become the next jury member?
23. Episode 23
Emotions are running high now that the castaways are getting closer to the finale. The tribemates are starting to second guess their strategies. Is now the time to change it up?
24. Episode 24
With only five contestants remaining, strategy reaches fever pitch as each tribemate ponders who should be the next to go.
25. Episode 25
Only four contestants remain and the next move they make will determine the finalists. The penultimate Immunity Challenge is one that each tribemate feels confident they can win.

With only three castaways left remaining, who will win the half a million dollar prize and the title of sole survivor?
