1. Sydney

In the first episode, Julia explores Sydney harbour before heading backstage at Sydney Opera House. At Bondi Beach she joins a beach patrol before heading off to a tattoo parlour to the stars, and as evening falls Julia joins Sydney’s drag queens for a memorable night.

2. Blue Mountains

Julia has a go at paddle boarding with pooches before meeting Australia’s favourite koala. She joins fashion designer Jenny Kee, before taking a ride on the world’s steepest railway. Her hike through the Blue Mountains ends with a sighting of the plastic-loving bowerbird.

3. Queensland

February 28th, 201922 min

Julia meets backpackers in Cairns and heads out to an island turtle sanctuary. She treks through the oldest rainforest in the world and gets a taste for green ants. The caretakers of an idyllic island introduce her to the magic of the Great Barrier Reef.

4. Western Australia

March 14th, 2019

Julia explores the coastal city of Perth. She enjoys a day at the races in Broome and explores life in the outback.

5. Northern Territory

Julia embarks on a crocodile safari in the wetlands of the Northern Territory, before chilling out in Darwin, home of the Ghan train.

6. Red Centre

March 28th, 2019

Julia continues her 12,000km journey across the continent in Central Australia, a huge outback region of the Northern Territory also known as the Red Centre. She begins in the town of Alice Springs, where she is persuaded to take part in a dry boat race. She also heads back to the classroom at the world's largest school, meets a retired Aussie soap star at his desert home and takes a camel ride to the sacred site of Uluru, or Ayers Rock.

7. Explorers Way

April 4th, 2019

Julia reaches South Australia as she continues her 12,000km journey across the continent. She drives along the Explorers Way, a route through the Outback mapped out by a pioneer in 1862, to the world's most isolated pub, where a small plane takes her on to the ancient landscape of the Painted Hills. In Adelaide, she climbs the roof of the Oval sports stadium and meets a women's cycling team, before ending her journey in wine country.

8. Great Ocean Road

April 11th, 2019

For the final leg of her journey around Australian journey, Julia drives along the Great Ocean Road toward Melbourne. Along the way she watches koalas while enjoying a cuppa, discovers a golf course where kangaroos share the links, paddles with platypuses and spots wombats at dusk.
