Here’s the plot: "Rosie "Aunty" Lee, owner of Singapore's best-loved Peranakan restaurant, is an amateur sleuth who finds herself solving crime cases in her neighbourhood in pursuit of the truth. These cases range from homicide - such as when Aunty Lee is accused of poisoning a wealthy socialite and her son with her ayam buah keluak - to seemingly petty crimes, like undergarment theft in the neighbourhood. Aunty Lee is assisted by her trusty Filipino helper, Nina, her no-nonsense restaurant manager, Cherill, and their Gen Z waitress, Yanna.
