At the construction company "Inasa Construction," Niwasaki Mai, who works in the general affairs department, is frustrated by her rude personality and the inability to get along with the other employees. One day, the company president tells Mai that a handsome, single engineer from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism will be coming to the company, and Mai is ordered to look after him. She is excited about marrying a rich man and quitting her job to get married, but on the day of the arrival, it turns out to be an android. The mismatched duo of Mai, a wild female employee, and Daiq will heat up the town!

1. Is there any point to that? Seriously.
At Inasa Construction, Mai Niwasaki of General Affairs spends her days frustrated, unable to get along with other employees due to her rough personality. One day, the President orders her to act as a handler for a handsome, single technical official visiting from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Mai gets excited about the prospect of marrying rich and retiring, but the person who arrives turns out to be a "Drop" (an android).
2. Is there any point to drinking parties? Seriously.
Daiq Machina has been dispatched from the Ministry to Inasa Construction. His specs are finally revealed as he effortlessly handles unreasonable demands from the Department Head. Mai is captivated by Daiq's convenience. However, at Daiq's welcome party, tensions flare between Mai and the architect Terasaki regarding "the accident two years ago." On the way home, Mai reveals to Haru Menoto, a female architect, that she still struggles to move on from the past.
3. Is there any point to meetings like this? Seriously.
Mai and Daiq visit a stadium under construction to offer support, but Section Chief Terasaki refuses them entry. However, President Mitsuyama, who is visiting to apologize to Mogami Construction, brings them along to inspect the site. Daiq senses something is wrong at the stadium. The two struggle to clear Inasa Construction of suspicions regarding construction defects...
4. Is there any point in supporting a fave? Seriously.
Mai, Haru, and Daiq receive lessons in traditional Japanese dance (Nagasaki Kenban) from Mai's mother. On the way home, Mai witnesses President Mitsuda secretly meeting with Ami, the leader of the underground idol group "Cas Tierra." Mai confronts the President with evidence of the meeting, but... meanwhile, a disturbing shadow creeps up on Mai and Daiq.
5. Is there any point... to my existence? Seriously.
Daiq is attacked on social media after someone spreads a fake video of him. A man and woman dressed in black close in. The fallout spreads to Inasa Construction, leaving the employees scrambling to deal with the situation. Unable to contact Terasaki or Daiq, Mai heads to the artificial island under construction with Department Head Yoshinaga...
6. I honestly don't get the point at all... Seriously.
Daiq reveals that the mysterious duo was the cause of the cyber attack. After the incident, it is decided that Daiq will return to Tokyo. Terasaki also reveals the truth behind the accident from two years ago. One year passes. Those who have made peace with the past have begun walking toward their own futures. Amidst this, a new visitor arrives to see Mai...
