There's a unique twist to the second-chance love story trope in "Time Freak": time travel.

Lionsgate Movies released the movie's trailer on Wednesday, Oct. 10, and it shows the protagonist, Stillman (Asa Butterfield), trying to win back his ex Debbie (Sophie Turner) in an unconventional way. Instead of wooing her back with flowers and apologies, he manages to build a time machine so he can start over and get their relationship right. It's either sweet or creepy, depending on how you look at it.

The rom-com follows Stillman as he revisits their relationship timeline and tries to fix his mistakes, and he has a sidekick in his friend Evan (Skyler Gisondo). As the trailer shows, the two have their fair share of cringe-worthy moments, and things don't always turn out according to plan.
