Nobody does it like RuPaul. A host and a judge, RuPaul is witty, wise, and sympathetic all at once. What an absolute joy to watch this gem on screen every single episode.  Memorable quote: “Impersonating Beyonce was not your destiny, child. ”

Tyra Banks, 'America's Next Top Model'

What would Tyra do? I often recite this manta to myself in a jam. Through all of "America's Next Top Model"s cycles, Tyra's zany antics, disguises, and over-the-top hammy dramatics have given us life. And she cares about the girls, too. Just ask Tiffany from Cycle 4 -- who she famously yelled at in a disappointed rage. All hail the woman who gave us smizing. Michael Kors, 'Project Runway'

Those burns, though. Michael Kors has uttered some of the most random fashion criticism we have ever heard. Simon Cowell, 'American Idol' & "X Factor'

Simon is the judge we all love to hate. He may be mean, but he also knows what he's talking about. He created "One Direction," you guys. Admit it -- you enjoy his epically rude career-crushing insults and his crisp v-necks.  Memorable quote: "Do you have a singing teacher? Get a lawyer and sue her."

Mary Murphy, 'So You Think You Can Dance'

"So You Think You Can Dance"'s wacky Mary Murphy may be gone, but she is definitely not forgotten. Her presence (and scream) echoes in our dance-loving brains. Sure, she was shrill, loud, and in-your-face, but her enthusiasm and passion made up for it. Most of the time.  Memorable quote: "That samba puts you on the hot tamale train!"

Paula Abdul, 'American Idol'

We weren't always sure what Paula was talking about, but we know the girl has heart. When she was speaking, it was hard to look away... And Paula just wanted to see those contestants to succeed! As huge fans of the singer/dancer from back in her "Coldhearted Snake" days, she really can do no wrong in our eyes. Plus, she made Simon laugh. Memorable quote: "I don't know if we should give you a record deal or a strait jacket!" 

Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, 'The Voice'

So, Adam and Blake are technically coaches... but this "The Voice" duo had to be included here. Both are great on their own, but their bromance (and rivalry) brings them to another level. That banter, expertise, and adorableness set the singing competition apart.  Memorable quote: "Blake is the authority on all things One Direction" -Adam 

Tom Colicchio, 'Top Chef'

Tom Colicchio isn't the most flamboyant of judges, yet he still manages to be endlessly watchable. He knows food, and if he doesn't like yours, you'll know it.... especially if you under-salted your food. The charming and usually stoic chef's insightful criticism and faces of chagrin are the cream of the reality tv crop. It's clear when #TomColicchioIsNotImpressed. Memorable quote: "Did you ever think about -- if you're on the winning side or losing side -- am I gonna win this with a chicken salad sandwich?"
