Sophie Turner Explains Her New 'Game of Thrones' Tattoo
Don't worry. It's not a spoiler.
Sophie Turner, aka Sansa Stark on "Game of Thrones," recently got a tattoo that got the fandom talking.
The final season of the HBO series is wrapping up filming for premiere in 2019 on HBO.
Turner's tattoo artist is the one who revealed the actress' new GoT-related tattoo -- of the House stark direwolf sigil and the phrase "The pack survives." Turner never posted the tat herself, leading some to believe it was a spoiler that she wasn't supposed to share. But that's not the case.
Sophie Turner was on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" last night, and addressed the fan "furor."
James Corden: "People were mad and crazy because they thought you were giving away the final spoiler to the final season."
Turner showed off "The pack survives" tattoo on camera.
James: "Now, understandably, everyone was like 'Oh my God, you've just given away the end.'"
Sophie Turner: "Yeah, actually while I was getting it done people advised me not to because it looked like I was giving everything away. But I wasn't. It's just a quote from last season. But everyone figures the pack really does survive. But it's just a moral that I like to live by."
It's a quote Sansa says in "Game of Thrones" Season 7, quoting what their father Ned Stark had told sister Arya Stark:
"When the snows fall, and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives."
James Corden asked Sophie to just put us out of our misery and tell us how the final season ends. She quipped, "I'll just get it tattooed on my forehead next time."
"Game of Thrones" Season 8 will air in 2019 on HBO.
