As the boy who can fly, Peter Pan will lead an uprising against the pirate Blackbeard in the newest trailer for "Pan," which debuted over Comic-Con International weekend.

The teaser for the live-action, very grim re-imagining of Disney's 1953 animated film stars youngster Levi Miller in the titular role--fulfilling a prophecy that is revealed by Hugh Jackman as the villain Blackbeard, as the budding leader who will lead to his end.

Other scenes offer a closer look at Neverland, including a larger than life crocodile and flying pirate ships.

Garrett Hedlund as Hook and Rooney Mara as Tiger Lilly also star in the action-adventure, in theaters on Oct. 9.
