Nathan Craig Fillion was born March 27, 1971, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Fillion moved to New York City in the mid-nineties and landed a role on "One Life to Live." He was even nominated for Daytime Emmy Award in 1996.

Nathan became a U.S. citizen in 1997.

After starring on "Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place" from 1998-2001, Fillion appeared on a handful of TV shows. He eventually took a role in 2002's short-lived Joss Whedon series, "Firefly," where he established himself as a leading man.
