8 Movies That Make Us Never Want to Get Married

You can't scroll through Facebook these days without seeing that yet another one of your "friends" got married and you weren't invited. Don't fret. If we've learned anything from watching movies, it's that weddings are a wide-awake nightmare. To celebrate the release of "Table 19," here are eight movies that have us saying "I don't."

'Sex and the City' (2008)

A wedding only took up about 10 minutes of this movie, but boy was it a doozy. If we weren't already feeling tense because of Carrie's meltdown in the middle of New York City, that giant feather in her hair would've done it for us.

'Something Borrowed' (2011)

Everyone in this movie is garbage, so it's unlikely that the plotline of "Something Borrowed" would happen to you, but we'd rather be safe than sorry. We like trusting our friends and not wondering if they are trying to steal our significant others.

'Bride Wars' (2009)

Was Kate Hudson put on this earth to make us never want to walk down the aisle? She's at it again in "Bride Wars," a movie so anti-women and cliche that it makes looking at wedding gowns vomit-inducing.

'Runaway Bride' (1999)

We know this bride gets her happy ending and finally makes it through the vows, but she left three very nice men with trust issues for the rest of their lives. We don't want to end up like those men!

'The Wedding Planner' (2001)

This movie is terrible, let's just get that out of the way. It just goes to show that if you can't count on your wedding planner, who can you count on? She's literally making money from making sure you get married, so if she's not on your team, what's the point?!

'The Hangover' (2009)

This movie will make you swear off bachelor or bachelorette parties -- and weddings -- forever. If your fiancé chooses to go Sin Cit and gets trapped on a roof and ruins every picture taken at your wedding, you only have yourself to blame. That, and the fact that you chose to marry him (or her) in the first place.

'Bridesmaids' (2011)

Getting married will turn you into the worst! If the delightful  Maya Rudolph isn't safe from becoming an annoying bride, no one is.

'Monster-in-Law' (2005)

If you meet your fiancé's parents, and they hate you, just leave. Don't try to work it out, don't go head-to-head with Jane Fonda. You'll lose every time.
