You have seen Marion Cotillard appear in countless roles since she started her career in 1994. However, what you may not know is that the Oscar-winner has a couple of very successful business projects on the side as well. Here are 12 things you probably didn't know about the "Allied" star.

1. A Parisian Childhood

Cotillard was born on September 30th, 1975 in the beautiful Paris, France.

2. Like Father, Like Daughter

Cotillard’s father was very successful in the film industry -- as well as an actor and award-winning director.

3. Double Trouble

Cotillard’s siblings are two younger boys who are twins.

4. No Earrings, Please

Cotillard has never, ever had her ears pierced!

5. A Delayed Romance

Cotillard met her husband, Guillaume Canet, in 1997. He worked on the set of “Love Me If You Dare” with his future wife in 2003. However, they didn’t fall for each other until 2007, 10 years after they originally met. What took so long?

6. Style Sensation

Vogue Magazine named Cotillard the #2 Best Dressed in 2010.

7. Top of the List, Again

In 2010, Vogue named her “Woman of the Decade."

8. Ask, Believe, Receive

Cotillard wanted to work with Tim Burton so badly that she slept with the "Big Fish" script under her pillow for a month, hoping to increase her chances of landing a role with him.

9. Business Savvy

Cotillard owns two very successful restaurants in Paris: Glou and Jaja.

11. Dream Co-Star

Cotillard’s dream is to work with Meryl Streep. Same, Marion. Same.

12. Hips Don't Lie

Cotillard has expressed her love for Shakira, naming the Latin star her favorite singer.

10. Favorite Flicks

Cotillard’s go-to movies are “The Godfather,” “Inception,” and “Psycho.” [Source: IMDB, Useless Daily]
