7 DC Villains We Want to See in 'Suicide Squad 2'

"Suicide Squad" is expected to kick all the ass at the box office this weekend, so a sequel is probably in the works. With that in mind, here are seven key DC villains we most definitely want to see in "Suicide Squad 2."

Count Vertigo

Count Vertigo has played a recurring role on "Arrow" over the years (to mixed results, at best), but we think this long-time Green Arrow villain/monarch could really live up to his potential on the big-screen. Especially if the sequel digs into the more politically focused side of the comics.

King Shark

King Shark reportedly almost made the cut for the first "Suicide Squad." We think he deserves a second chance next time. What's better than a walking, talking shark who's favorite hobby is reminding everyone he's a shark? And eating people, of course.

Poison Ivy

20 years later, we're still trying to wipe away the bad taste of Poison Ivy from "Batman & Robin." Maybe "Squad 2" can redeem this iconic Batman foe. And with Harley Quinn being such a big player in these movies, it only makes sense to introduce her best gal pal.

Bronze Tiger

In the comics, few characters have served on Task Force X longer than Bronze Tiger. The fact that he's survived all those missions, while wearing a goofy tiger mask, should tell you everything you need to know about this deadly martial artist. Plus, he deserves a little pick-me-up after being quietly killed off between seasons of "Arrow."

Bizarro

Recently, DC's comics have re-imagined this strange Superman doppelganger as a flawed clone created by Lex Luthor. That revamped origin would fit perfectly in the context of the DC Extended Universe. Not to mention that Bizarro's incredible powers would be a useful addition to a team that mainly includes assassins and drunken Australians.

Killer Frost

If the first "Suicide Squad" gave us a villain with flame powers, why not explore the other side of the power spectrum? It remains to be seen if Caitlin Snow will ever go full supervillain on "The Flash," so perhaps the movies can fill that void.

Deathstroke

Deadshot is widely regarded as the second best assassin in the DC Universe. The top dog? None other than Mr. Slade Wilson. Whether he's a member of the Squad or a Joker-esque foil to the team, Mr. Wilson deserves his big break on the big screen.
