11 Cool AF Movie Parents We Want to Adopt Us

Don't get us wrong, we love our parents, but there are just some movie parents who have us researching the ins and outs of adult adoption. Here are the 11 coolest parents to ever hit the big screen.

Mac and Bren in 'Juno' (2007)

Bren, we'd never vomit in your urn. Mac and Bren are not only a ton of nerdy fun, but they're also a perfect example of love. Just great role models. Thundercats are go on these fictional parentals.

Morticia and Gomez in 'The Addams Family' (1991)

Not only are Morticia and Gomez #RelationshipGoals, but they are also full-fledged #ParentGoals. Wednesday literally burns down her summer camp and they aren't even mad about it!

Atticus Finch in 'To Kill a Mockingbird' (1962)

Atticus Finch is the ultimate movie parent, don't @ us.

Dill and Rosemary in 'Easy A' (2010)

Honestly, it doesn't get better than these two. They are hilarious and supportive. If they were our parents, we wouldn't have any friends because we would always be at home, hanging out with them.

Armand and Albert in 'Birdcage' (1996)

Yes, life would be a little (a lot?) more dramatic with these two as your main support system -- but it would also be 25% fun, 25% unconditional love, 25% dancing, and 25% great wigs.

George and Nina in 'Father of the Bride' (1991)

Yeah, George is a little neurotic for most of the movie, but can you blame him? If these were our parents, we would not be introducing our fiancé to them AFTER we already got engaged. It's honestly rude.

Molly and Arthur Weasley in the 'Harry Potter' Movies

We'd be so much more low-key as an unofficial adopted child than Harry Potter -- like, we wouldn't have Voldemort chasing us down. So life would just be all laughs and home-cooked meals with the Weasleys.

Tom and Kate in 'Cheaper by the Dozen' (2003)

Let's get this out of the way: "Cheaper by the Dozen" is NOT a great movie, but who the heck wouldn't want to be raised by Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt?! We wouldn't necessarily want 12 brothers and sisters, but Bonnie would make it worth it.

Lucille in 'The Karate Kid' (1984)

Single moms for the win. The true hero of "The Karate Kid" is actually Lucille for being a kicka** mom.

Scott and Kate in 'The House' (2017)

Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler as our parents? Yes, yes, yes ... a thousand times yes! And the characters they play in "The House," Scott and Kate, risk going to jail for the rest of their lives just to send their daughter to college. That's love.

Peg and Bill in 'Edward Scissorhands' (1990)

It doesn't get more open-minded than Peg and Bill. Most parents wouldn't be down with a white guy with scissors for hands crashing at their place and making out with their teenage daughter, but these guys see past those metal hands and into his heart. Though, now that we think about it, this could've ended SO BADLY.
