25 'Seinfeld' Guest Stars Who Totally Hit It Big

June 23, 2015 - 1 min read

Every episode of "Seinfeld" hits Hulu on June 24th, so get ready for a summer of George! And Jerry, Elaine, Kramer, Newman... yada, yada, yada. One thing's for sure about "Seinfeld" -- the briefly-seen bit characters were some of the most memorable parts of the series. And boy were there a lot of them. Jerry had over 50 girlfriends throughout the show's run alone, and it seems like almost all of them went on to be stars. From an "anti-dentite" to a "braless wonder," here are 25 "Seinfeld" guest stars who hit it big.

Lisa Edelstein

She's perhaps best known for playing Cuddy on "House" and now she's the lead in Bravo's "Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce," but Lisa Edelstein played one of George's love interests once upon a time.

Mariska Hargitay

Before she became a household name playing badass Olivia Benson on "SVU," Mariska Hargitay played a sexy actress reading for the Elaine role in Jerry's pilot.

Lauren Graham

Before she was Lorelai Gilmore, Lauren Graham was Valerie, whose speed dial became an obsession of Jerry's.

Sarah Silverman

Comedian Sarah Silverman played one of Kramer's girlfriends in Season 8.

Courteney Cox

Prior to starring on that other NBC must-see-TV show, Courteney Cox played Meryl, a woman who posed as Jerry's wife so they could share a dry-cleaning discount.

Bryan Cranston

Bryan Cranston went on to star on "Malcolm in the Middle" and "Breaking Bad," but who could forget his recurring portrayal of dentist (Jerry thought he converted to Judaism for the jokes), Tim Whatley?

Jennifer Coolidge

The hilarious Jennifer Coolidge (AKA "Stifler's mom") guest starred on the same episode as Edelstein, as a masseuse who can't stand George.

Brenda Strong

Brenda Strong of "Desperate Housewives" and "Dallas" recurred as Sue Ellen Mischke, the notorious bra-less wonder.

Christa Miller

"Drew Carey Show" and "Scrubs" star Christa Miller appeared twice on "Seinfeld" as two different characters -- once as George's girlfriend and then as the boss of bra salesmen Sid Farkus.

Marcia Cross

"Desperate Housewives" star Marcia Cross played a dermatologist who Jerry famously referred to as pimple popper MD.

Catherine Keener

"40 Year Old Virgin" and "Capote" actress Catherine Keener was the artist who painted a now-iconic portrait of Kramer.

Teri Hatcher

"They're real and they're spectacular." Teri Hatcher ("Lois and Clark," "Desperate Housewives") uttered those immortal words playing Sidra, the woman who dumps Jerry after Elaine tries to find out if her breasts are real.

James Spader

James Spader wasn't exactly unknown when he played recovering alcoholic "Stanky" Hanky in an episode from the show's 9th season. He had already appeared in films like "Pretty in Pink" and "Sex, Lies, and Videotape,"

Denise Richards

Denise Richards played Molly, daughter of NBC president Russell Dalrymple -- a 15-year-old whose cleavage George can't help but stare at.

Brad Garrett

"Everybody Loves Raymond" star Brad Garrett was Tony, Jerry's overly serious mechanic.

Kristin Davis

Kristin Davis, best known as Charlotte of "Sex and the City," played a girlfriend of Jerry's who puts one of his things in the toilet after he doesn't tell her her toothbrush had fallen in the toilet.

Daniel Dae Kim

Before he was Jin on "Lost," Daniel Dae Kim played Student #1 in "The Burning." When Kramer describes a fake ailment to students for an acting gig, Kim guesses his problem correctly. Yep. It was gonorrhea.

Debra Messing

Debra Messing was another guest star who became an NBC sitcom darling in her own right. She appeared on two episodes of the series as Jerry's "anti-dentite" girlfriend Beth, who Jerry later finds out is anti-Semitic and racist.

Jon Favreau

Did you know actor and "Iron Man" director Jon Favreau was the man behind Eric the Clown?

Jeremy Piven

"Entourage" star Jeremy Piven played the sweatpants-clad actor hired to play George in "The Pilot."

Amanda Peet

"Togetherness" star Amanda Peet played Linette, a date of Jerry's who lives with another "dude."

Drake Bell

"Drake and Josh" star Drake Bell was the kid in the pizza place playing George's beloved Frogger!

Jon Voight

OK, Jon Voight hit it big before his "Seinfeld" cameo, but we felt like it was important to mention the classic scene where he bites Kramer from a cab.

Patton Oswalt

Comedian Patton Oswalt was cast as a video store clerk in "The Couch."

Molly Shannon

In "The Summer of George" episode, "SNL" alum Molly Shannon played a co-worker of Elaine's who doesn't move her arms when she walks.
