11 TV Movies So Bad You Have to Watch Them

Not every made-for-television film sets out to be a joke, but there are quite a few that present such ridiculous premises that they have to be seen to be believed. Sometimes the bad can be delightfully good. Here are 11 TV movies that are so bad you just have to watch them.

'Mother, May I Sleep With Danger'

The name alone is enough to reel you in, right? Tori Spelling, in one of her finest performances, plays Laurel in this 1996 Lifetime classic. Let's just say Laurel's boyfriend Kevin gets a little intense. OK, he rivals Mark Wahlberg in "Fear."

'Liz & Dick'

Lindsay Lohan as screen legend Elizabeth Taylor? What more could you ask for from the TV gods? This Lifetime camp-fest is a soapy biopic about Taylor's long, tumultuous relationship with Richard Burton and it's worth checking out. Lindsay (as Liz) exclaiming "I'm so bored!" is an especially memorable moment.

'My Future Boyfriend'

This 2011 ABC Family gem is about -- get this -- a man named P-A-X-497/341 from 1000 years in the future who goes back in time to learn about love from a romance novelist, played by Sara Rue. Pax's (played by Barry Watson of "7th Heaven" fame) robotic accent coupled with this ridiculous premise is enough to keep you begging for more.

'Fir Crazy'

Elise is a Scrooge-like holiday hater who reluctantly takes a job with the family business selling Christmas trees. Of course romance ensues and her seasonal spirit is restored. At one point someone actually uses the phrase "mistletotally."

'Dinocroc Vs. Supergator'

Before there was Sharknado, there was Dinocroc. And Supergator, too! And they battled it out for crazy creature domination.

'Pizza My Heart'

First of all, this title is perfect. Second of all, this film is like Romeo and Juliet with italian food, except without all the tragedy! Find out what happens when members from two rival pizza restaurant-owning families fall in love. That's amore!

'Mom's Got a Date With a Vampire'

There's nothing to really explain here. Mom does have a date with a vampire. Basically, her grounded kids try to get her out of the house only to realize that her new companion is a tad suspicious. It's a Disney Channel horror / comedy delight! And Maxwell Sheffield (Charles Shaugnessy) from "The Nanny" is in it, so you know it's legit.

'The Blue Lagoon: The Awakening'

In 2012 Lifetime decided to produce a "Blue Lagoon" remake starring Denise Richards. That is all.

'Willing to Kill: The Texas Cheerleader Story'

This 1992 Lesley Ann Warren vehicle was based on the true story of a Texas mom who set out to kill the mother of her daughter's cheerleading rival. If you're a true crime fan who likes big hair and southern accents, by all means check this one out.

'Chasing Leprechauns'

Fulfilling the dire need for more St. Paddy's day-centric films, Hallmark's "Chasing Leprechauns" is about an American corporation that goes to build a plant outside a small Irish village, only to find out that the area is protected for its supposed Leprechaun inhabitants.

'Dying to Belong'

Jenna von Oy of "Blossom"! Oscar winner Hilary Swank! "Dying to Belong," a delicious thriller about a deadly sorority, is a must-see from the Lifetime original movie canon.
