Stunned, Burdette wanders aimlessly through a forest and trips over a rock, sustaining a head injury. Meanwhile, Jimmie--under the impression that a depressed Burdette has killed himself--goes to New York to inspect his new "estate" and meets Burdette's daughter, Cynthia.
