To compensate the loss of Lus brother Lu the captain of judo team at school has been brought up by her mother as a substitute of her brother in Beijing In the seemingly masculine appearance she secretly falls in love with Nicole the internet celebrity girl from Taiwan Lu and Nicole meet each other in a judo competition of which the winner would have the chance to become the leading actress in an action film Nicole wins the competition but she disappears right before the movie start shooting As Nicoles substitute Lu then has the chance to play the leading actress of the action movie But the thing is is Lu able to find her own selfidentity and be the real her in ones life

Over the Rainbow

Taiwanese film director Zero Chou's (周美玲) Six Asian Cities Rainbow Project — a series of six productions about LGBTQ+ issues shot in six different cities across Asia. Five have been completed so far in the cities: Chengdu (We Are Gamily/偽婚男女); Beijing (The Substitute/替身); Singapore (Handsome Stewardess/帥T空姐 TV Series); Taipei (Wrath of Desire/愛·殺); Penang (Secrets of 1979/弓蕉園的秘密). One more project is planned for Hong Kong.
