Let’s set the scene for you... Here's the plot: "On her 45th wedding anniversary, Bridget finds her husband at a pub, having an affair with a younger woman. She has built her entire life to revolve around her husband and marriage, but now she finds herself desperately lost. Bridget lies and tells her husband that she too has a younger boyfriend, and in a lapse of judgement she agrees to go on a double date with her husband and his lover. Bridget hatches a plan with the pub bartender, promising him that she will help save his failing pub, if he poses as her boyfriend at the double date. Throughout the film, Bridget goes on a journey of self exploration, self love, and acceptance, as she makes new meaningful connections, and is able to find true happiness in being herself."
