Plot
In the middle of the Edo period , the 8th Shogun Yoshimune Tokugawa ( Raizo Ichikawa ) lied about his status as a doshin and begged the head of the doshin, Ooka Echizen no kami Tadada ( Masao Mishima ), to be allowed to be involved in solving cases on the scene . Around that time, he had been informed of the appointment of Imperial Envoy Gojo Dainagon Lord Kanehiro, and he wanted to work as a doshin before his appointment.
